Schultz has career day at Malone College Fall Invitational

The University of Saint Francis men's golf team finished 7th at the Malone College fall Classic over the weekend, shooting a two day total 622. The tournament was played at Tannenhauf Golf Course in Alliance, OH.  

The Cougars were lead by a career low from sophomore Ryan Schultz (Fort Wayne, IN) finishing with a two day score of 145 (75-70) to finish in 7th place. Other Cougar scores were Chad Harding (West Lafayette, IN) and Cory Rospert (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) both playing as individuals shoot 157, Bob Bragg (Antwerp, OH) 158 (78-80), Mike Domenico (Claypool, IN) 159 (81-78), Bryan Elston (Tipton, IN) 160 (80-80), and rounding out the Cougar line-up was Jared Friedt 166 (84-82).

Malone College was the invitational team champion shooting a school record score of 569. Luca Murray of Mount Union University was the event medalist, shooting a two day total 135 (71, 64).

The men return to action on Friday and Saturday, September 26th & 27th when they will compete in the Bethel College Fall Invitational at Swan Lake Golf Resort.
