The University of Saint Francis's Jared Friedt was medailst at the KWC Men's Golf Invitational on Friday at Windridge Country Club in Owensboro, KY.  Friedt lead the way as USF finished second behind NCAA D-2 Southern Indiana.

Friedt shot a two day total of 71-71--142 giving him a one shot win over Southern Indiana's Aaron Anderson who finished the tournament with a two day total of 70-73-143.

Freshman Bob Bragg had another impressive apperance as he tied the tournament low round of 70 on day two bringing his two day total to 75-70-145.  This secured him a second consecutive top five finish.

Rounding out the Cougar line-up was Mike Domenico 79-73-152, Bryan Elston 79-76-155, Chad Harding 78-81-159, and playing as an individual RJ Schultz 78-76-154.

Southern Indiana won the tournament with a 588. USF fell short by five strokes after carding the tourament low round of 290 in day two.  USF finished the tournament with a 303-290-593. Kentucky Wesleyan took third place with a 599, Oakland City fourth with 626, and Brescia finished in fifth place with a 628.

Next up the Cougars host the Saint Francis Invitational at Coyote Creek Golf Club in Fort Wayne, IN on Thursday, September 11.
