

AUBURN, Ind. - Nick Kelley, a 3-time all-area selection, has committed to continue his golf and education at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Ind.
A senior at DeKalb High School, Kelley has been named to the Kendallville Publishing Company Media Group All-Area first team for three consecutive years.
Kelley averaged 77.38 at DeKalb's No. 1 as a junior, placed third in the Northeast Hoosier Conference Meet to earn All-NHC honors and led DeKalb to the sectional championship in 2008. He was medalist at the DeKalb Invitational with a 78 and at the Angola Invitational with a 74.
As a sophomore in 2006-07, Kelley earned second-team All-NHC while advancing as an individual to the Homestead Regional at Noble Hawk where he shot a 2-over-par 73.
Kelley also excelled at tennis for the Barons earning All-NHC second team honors playing doubles with Jonathan Haggarty. They combined for an 18-4 record and advanced to the second round of the state doubles regional tournament.
Kelley is the son of Steve and Beth Kelley.
