CONVOY, Ohio – Convoy Crestview High School graduate Carly Lichtensteiger has signed to continue her education and basketball career at the University of Saint Francis.

   Lichtensteiger, who was a 5-foot-8 starting center for the Lady Knights, played a key role in Crestview's back-to-back state runs the past two seasons and led the team in rebounding. She averaged 8.9 points per game and 6.6 rebounds while shooting .468 from the field and 60 percent at the free-throw line. She was a Northwest Conference All-NWC second-team selection and was an All-District Division IV honorable mention selection for the 25-1 Lady Knights. She also helped Crestview win three consecutive conference championships.

   “Carly is a hard-nosed, physical player who comes from a very successful program and she will really help give us much needed depth to our post game,” USF coach Gary Andrews said.
