  INDIANAPOLIS -- Justin Darvish and Ryan Crawford traded goals and assist while goalie Nick Morken pitched in two assists for a 2-1 University of Saint Francis win at Marian University on Wednesday night.

  USF pulled itselft back to the .500 level overall at 7-7-1 and improved to 2-3 in Mid-Central College Conference play. MU slipped to 2-11-1, 1-5 in the MCC.

  Darvish scored just 1:26 into the match off a Crawford cross into the 18 and struck a beautiful shot inside the far post vaulting the Cougars to a 1-0 advantage. Crawford put the Cougars up 2-0 at 54:07 off a pass from Darvish and Morken. Morken finished with five saves for the Cougars, four in the second half.

  MU slashed the USF lead in half on a Matt Stoner unassisted score at 84:38. The Knights created one more scoring threat, but Morken made the crucial save at 86:31 to preserve the Cougars' 1-goal edge.

   USF resumes play at Huntington University on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 2 p.m.
