UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. -- Justin Darvish cashed in a penalty kick, but it wasn't enough as the University of Saint Francis slipped 2-1 at Saginaw Valley State University.

Darvish scored at 16:03 to tie the match at 1. USF held off the NCAA II members until Kevin Fox headed in a pass beating USF keeper Ryan Roy at 77:47 for what proved to be the game winner.

"We played well and had our chances, we just couldn't finish," USF coach Mitch Ellisen said. "Our effort was much better than against Shawnee State."
