

Fort Wayne native Eddie Nolan enters his 10th season on the USF coaching staff, his third coaching Cougar tight ends. He has more than 23 years of coaching experience. Nolan was an assistant football coach at South Side High School for 17 years and is currently employed as an administrative assistant at SSHS.
Nolan's collegiate career began at South Carolina State where he played defensive back for the Bulldogs. He then transferred to Butler University to play football and track. After his playing days, Nolan received free agent tryouts with the NFL's Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys, and the CFL's Ottawa Roughriders.
Nolan has previously served as a USF assistant track coach working with sprinters. He and his wife, Karen, reside in Fort Wayne with their son Thomas.
