

Huntington, IN-In a duel meet with Huntington University, the USF women's team came home with the first place trophy as they outran the Foresters by a score of 25-34.
Freshman Ericka Williams was the overall winner of the race as she cruised to an easy win with a time of 19:56. Krystal McHenry of HU finished second with a time of 20:36 as she outkicked Amy Roberts of USF as Roberts finished in 20:37 in third place. Wendy Mahlan was the next Cougar across the line as she was sixth in 21:45 followed by Katie Geraghty who was seventh in 22:01. Senior Tiffany Bremer rounded out the top 5 scoring as she was eighth in 22:11.
On the men's side, James Dueling ran a time of 28:08 to finish 14th. Alex Bush was 15th with a time of 29:04 and taking nearly three minutes off his time from two weeks ago was Josh Fullenkamp who finished in 19th place with a time of 30:38. Freshman Ian Hartman and Mykal Thomas completed the scoring for USF as they finished in 19th and 20th place with times of 31:31 and 32:54.
Nationally ranked Huntington University easily won the men's meet with a score of 16. Saint Xavier University was second, USF was third and Holy Cross College fourth.
Next week USF will travel to Wisconsin to compete in the Lucian Rosa Parkside
