  University of Saint Francis senior pitcher Bart Schnur has been selected Mid-Central College Conference Player of the Week for April 20-25.

  It is his second selection this season and fourth for his career. Schnur (Boonville, IN / Boonville H.S.) He pitched four innings on Sunday in Game 2 against Wilmington College to secure the win, his eighth this season, which is a USF baseball single-season record for wins. He also picked up a save in the Cougars 5-2 win over Marian on Saturday to secure USF's best-ever finish in regular-season MCC competition.

  Schnur is 8-1 this season overall and in MCC play, he has the fourth best ERA at 2.56. He has appeared in a team-leading 14 games on the mound, has pitched 66 2/3 innings, yielded 69 hits, 33 earned runs, walked 30, struck out 33 and teams are hitting .271 against Schnur.

   It was his 19th career win, just one behind career wins leader Matt Degitz.
